While I was tidying up the scraps leftover, I couldn’t help myself to try out the new paper pad I received from Fat Quarter Shop and use up my scraps right away. These fabrics were leftover from the quilt I made, it is the Stacy Iest Hsu Halloween Collection HERE  and the MODA grunge is Olivenite HERE. 

Using up leftover fabric

I find it easier to use up as much of the fabric and sort them right away before I put them away out of sight. 

There’s a lot of benefit to using up your scraps as much as you can before they are piled on with the other scraps.

For one, you are already working with a good mix of fabric colours and prints. If you make a small scrappy project, it will be quick and easy plus it’ll match your quilt!
