What do you do when your handmade item is all worn out and used.
Do you feel sad when it is time to let them go?
I am about to tell you my story. Please bear with the drama. đ

Do you have limited sewing area? Or do you sew in the dining area? Are you looking to add a craft table to the space?
If you have a large space for sewing, lucky you. I know some of us do have the whole basement or attic to make it into their sewing space and I do envy them a little đ
If you donât have the right space just yet, donât worry, I suggest you try and make the most out of what you have now. I am pretty sure everyone starts from nothing. And later you can gauge your interest in having a dedicated space for sewing and maybe plan for it the next time you move, or renovate the house.
In this post, Iâll share some of the best craft tables or sewing tables that are space-saving for your small sewing space.

Today Iâd like to share a video on how to set up your space for free motion quilting using a domestic machine and some of my favourite free-motion quilting tips in video format.
Previously, I have shared some of these tips on my blog (which you can find in the following top posts):
but for visual learners, a video might be much more helpful for you. So hopefully, this video will benefit you, and encourage you to start quilting your own quilt with your sewing machine!
If you are a beginner free motion quilter or havenât yet got the hang of free motion quilting, I would like to invite you to join my FREE E-course on FREE MOTION QUILTING FOR BEGINNER HERE >>
I am sharing with you today how I quilted block 24 â Crosses and Losses. Another alternative Loop Motif â a clamshell strand.
If you are new here, this post is a part of my quilt-as-you-go my Sewcial Bee Sampler, a sew-along hosted by Sharon Holland and Maureen Cracknell. I plan to share along the process with some tips and tutorial.
As usual, I have two blocks made for two quilts, one with custom quilting and one with allover quilting. Both would be a great practice if you are looking towards improving your free-motion skill. I am still practicing myself, especially with the custom quilting. I am learning as I go, so letâs do this together!
Another quilt finish!
A finished quilt is always a fun post. I love having a project finally bound and out of the sewing room for good. The joy of making it is one thing, but the joy of finally having a finished quilt to use, gift and photograph is another joy to celebrate.
Today, I am sharing with you my Community Sampler Quilt, bound and finally done.
I have been sharing the progress and finish on Instagram, and have been enjoying other peopleâs work too with hashtag #communitysampler.Â
Here are previous posts of the quilt progress:

I am sharing with you today how I quilted block 17 â Spools. In this post, youâll learn how to free motion quilt a cute leafy strands motif and see how I have incorporated feathers into the custom quilt block this time.
