BTW I love the logo!

I sent over a table runner in spring colours. Bouquet of pink flowers and bright green with a touch of swirly quilting. I sent mine to Erin.

I received from Buffie this lovely placemat and hotpad. So lovely in autumn Colours too. It has been a wonderful autumn so far here in Canberra, and I am loving this placemat so much! Thank you Buffie.

  3. I love what you sent and what you received though I’m not usually into browns and the colors you sent are usually more my taste but I can honestly say I loved both things.

  5. Amira,

You gave me the best May day gift ever. Admittedly, I thought that I wasn’t going to receive my Covert Robin gift and accepted that fact. When my post office box told me that I received a package from Australia, I knew immediately what it was and I was pleasantly surprised to see the contents. When I was making my Covert Robin gift, I had no idea what to make and I fear my poorly updated blog doesn’t give many clues to what I’d like. Yet, somehow you nailed it! On my blog, I feature recipes, mainly as way for me to document what I’ve made and to share it with my friends. As such, when I re-make recipes or do something that I consider basic, I don’t document it-but I digress. Your beautiful table runner will give me something to dress up my tables on Spring holidays and display some of the recipes that I share.

In short, it is perfect and the picture above does not do it justice. I am just learning how to sew and quilt, and you have inspired me not to just do diamond patterns, I want to swirls!

Again, thanks very much and be on the lookout for your card from me!
