NOTE : I no longer promote Craftsy/Bluprint as I used to due to the way the subscription is currently being carried out. I had the issue of cancelling my subscription when the company changed hand and I find that cancelling through calls is inconvenient. However, I do still stand behind these classes I promote and if you are subscribed, you can surely check these classes I recommend on the platform. If you are looking for another online platform to learn craft such as quilting, do check out CreativeBug. It is much cheaper in subscription (subscribe now 3 months for only $5). Thank you.

Welcome to another “Three of 3 on A Tuesday”. I will have THREE things or links of 3 topics for you to visit/read every Tuesday to either showcase tutorials, inspirations, random daily thoughts or it could be any fabric/notion sales running that particular week. 3 Current and Upcoming Sew/quilt-along

You know I am a fan of sew/quilt-along. I shall make a post later to some of the benefits of sew-along, but today, I want to share with you some of the sew/quilt-along that has just begun or about to begin later this year so you can join in right from the start.

  1. #100blocks100days hosted by Angie of Gnome Angel. She has been running this QAL in the past, and seeing everyone’s version of the sampler quilt is amazing! Are you up for a 100days straight of sewing blocks? The blocks are based on the book of ‘Tula Pink Modern Sampler’. This QAL starts 7th July. Plenty of time to get ready and sew-along. I believe there are great prizes to be won too if you participate. Read more HERE>.
  2. Another gorgeous quilt to sew along with – Rebecca from Bryan House Quilt is hosting Feathered Star Summer Quilt Along – starting June 6th.
  3. This one has already started but you are not too late to join in! A summery fresh modern look, this quilt has various blocks designed by various modern quilters. Check the quilt along details HERE>

3 things you may want to check out

  1. Bundles. I love buying bundles of fat quarters or fat eights when I make sampler quilts. I love making it look scrappy yet controlled if you know what I mean. This shop makes amazing bundles of fabrics: perfect for getting right into cutting them to make a quilt. Check out this man quilt bundle and this MEGA low volume bundle.
  2. Cutting circles get easier with this!
  3. Make summer fun with your kids or grandkids joining along-side you crafting. Check out the crafty kits for kids. If you are thinking about subscribing to Craftsy Unlimited, there is a limited time offer with FREE kid’s kit too. If you are already subscribed, check out the kid’s section!
NOTE : I no longer promote Craftsy/Bluprint as I used to due to the way the subscription is currently being carried out. I had the issue of cancelling my subscription when the company changed hand and I find that cancelling through calls is inconvenient.
